This Sunday at Trask Middle School, the #1 Eels will take on the #3 Flytraps for the CMBL Championship.
Riding high off claiming the CMBL Regular Season title, the Eels cruised through the playoffs going 3-0. Manager Brandon Devito’s club is looking to defend their 2023 championship as they make their 2nd straight championship round appearance. Unlike last year, the Eels enter this year’s championship with the upper hand. The Eels only need one win to secure back-to-back championships.
Challenging the Eels are the 2022 CMBL Champion, Cape Fear Flytraps. Manager Jesse Money’s squad is back in the championship round for the third time in four seasons. They’ll be faced with the tough task of needing two wins on Sunday to claim the CMBL Championship.
The first pitch of Game 1 will be at Noon on Sunday at Trask Middle School. Game 2, if necessary, will be played right after.
