WILMINGTON PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Zack Licursi was dealing in Wilmington on Sunday, racking up 11 strikeouts in seven scoreless innings of work. At the plate, Zack added three hits, including a double, as the Northern Lights routed the defending champion Eels 13-2.
JACKSONVILLE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
There wasn’t a clear favorite for Player of the Week in Jacksonville as several WarDogs posted gaudy numbers in their 19-5 victory over the Bombers. PJ White’s home run and three RBI performance earn him the nod this week. This is the WarDogs’ fifth player of the week honor this season.
