Playoffs Begin

🔥 PLAYOFF BASEBALL BEGINS SATURDAY 🔥

📍 Kerr St. Park | 🗓️ Sunday, June 29th

The playoffs are here as the 2025 Carolina Men’s Baseball League postseason gets underway! Two opening-round matchups will set the tone for what’s sure to be a thrilling playoff run. Let’s break down the matchups:

⚔️ #10 Bombers vs. #7 Cardinals
đź•› 12:00 PM
The Bombers may be winless in the regular season, but don’t count them out just yet — anything can happen in the playoffs. They’ll look to shock the league by taking down the 7th-seeded Cardinals, who bring a gritty, veteran roster and are hungry to prove they’re better than their 5-9 record suggests. These two teams met twice in the regular season, with the Cardinals winning both games.

🔍 Key to the Game: Can the Bombers tighten up on defense and capitalize on their underdog status? Or will the Cardinals’ experience and consistency send them through to the next round?

đź’Ą #9 Renegades vs. #8 Brew Crew
đź•’ 3:00 PM
This one’s set to be a heavyweight scrap between two teams with something to prove. The Renegades are hungry after a tough season, but they showed flashes of potential. Meanwhile, the Brew Crew enters hot off a 15-run statement win in their season finale. In their lone matchup of the season, the Brew Crew prevailed 16-12.

🔥 Matchup Watch: Brew Crew’s bats vs. the Renegades’ resilience. Can the Crew stay hot? Or will the Renegades rise to the moment?

👀 What’s at Stake?
The winners of these two games move on to face the league’s top seeds in the second round on July 13th. The losers will drop to the losers’ bracket and wait for an opponent.

🎇 See you Sunday for playoff fireworks.
Let the road to the championship begin.
