Make Your Sunday SUPER with the CMBL
Super Sunday Problems:
– Don’t want to sit around all day waiting for the big game to start?
– Do you think the Super Bowl only means baseball is around the corner?
– Would you rather be playing/watching baseball?
Well, we have the solutions for you! Join us on Super Sunday for some pre-season CMBL action.
Starting at 9:30 AM, the up-start Wilmington Rays Baseball will scrimmage the perennial power Northern Lights Baseball at Robert Strange Park.
Also at 9:30 AM, the re-tooled, re-branded Copperheads will scrimmage Cape Fear Flytraps Baseball at Roland Grise.
As we will do throughout the rest of the winter, Sunday open practices will be held at their normal times (noon) in both Jacksonville (Kerr St. Park) and Wilmington (Roland Grise).
All new players, especially ones who have already registered, are encouraged to attend as we are looking to get you placed on teams.
For those who may have been discouraged by the huge turnout in Wilmington last weekend, we hope you join us again this weekend. With four teams scrimmaging earlier in the day, it should alleviate some of the crowd and allow you to get more work in.
