Game of the Week: Cape Fear – River Ducks vs Northern Lights Baseball
The Lights find themselves in the Game of the Week for the second week in a row. After suffering a tough defeat at the hands of the WarDogs, the Lights will take on the other undefeated team left, the River Ducks. The Ducks want to keep pace with the WarDogs for the top spot in the standings while the Lights look to regroup and get back to their winning ways.
Both teams are riding high off of Week 2 wins. Winning this week will establish one of these teams as an early-season contender.
Flytraps vs Bombers
The Bombers desperately need a win and the Flytraps are historically off in Jacksonville. An upset could be brewing at Kerr St. Park.
Renegades vs Eels
Both teams suffered tough losses in Week 2. The Renegades desperately need a win to avoid dropping to 0-3. On the other side, the Eels need a win to get early season momentum back in their favor.
WarDogs vs Cardinals
In a clash of Jacksonville teams, the Cards will have their first crack at the WarDogs this season. The WarDogs have been the class of the CMBL for the first two weeks, and they’ll look to continue that showcase against the upstart Cards, who look vastly improved this season.
